Collaborate with utilities and energy providers, investors and large corporations, NGOs, and the public sector. Apply analytics to inform client business strategy and identify process improvements. Assess and determine development opportunities to support the business growth. Develop solutions to assist clients with distributed energy resources planning. Evaluate market opportunities for energy efficiency, load management, renewables, and various energy storage programs. Assist clients with distributed energy resource planning efforts, process changes, and regulatory needs. Develop detailed technical and quantitative analysis and reports.
Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Data Science, Economics, Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Science, or a related discipline, plus three (3) years of related work experience.
Must have three (3) years of experience with/in the following:
- Forecasting distributed energy resource (DER) market adoption at granular locational and temporal levels;
- Utilizing one (1) or more of the following programming languages, such as: R (and R’s “Tidyverse” packages), Python, and/or SQL;
- Industry experience working with utilities, energy efficiency, demand response, data analytics, energy modeling, and cost-effectiveness; and
- Developing technical approaches and frameworks for analytics-based projects.
