Responsible for maintaining the ISO-9001:2015 program for both ARA sites and initiating policy and process improvements to the quality management system. Responsible for managing the quality personnel, create department status reports to be regularly presented to the Director of Quality and must possess the skill of interpreting customer and engineering drawings.

Ensures that processes needed for the quality management system are established, implemented, and maintained and formulates Quality Control policies to improve the organization’s efficiency and profitability by reducing waste
Ensures that products meet all quality metrics to ensure we ship quality products to the customers.
Develop key customer relationships and the confidence of the customers on our Quality responsibility.
Manage multiple sites Quality Assurance / Quality Control functions and personnel and establish a unified consistent Quality discipline, culture, and behavior consistent with ARA Quality Code.
Reports to top management on the performance of the quality management system and any need for improvement.
Ensures the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization. Interacts with management and staff for appropriate coordination, communication, and documentation related to quality.
Monitors and evaluates the quality of planning, and design activities accomplished by staff, vendors, designers, and contractors to assure the work is in conformance with the Quality documents, ISO, and industry standards.
Identifies and implements necessary training designed to prevent errors or other deficiencies in the planning, design, machining, and manufacturing processes.
Conducts periodic external audits of suppliers and/or contractors to evaluate conformance to Quality, ISO, and industry standards.
Responsible for periodic internal audits of departments to evaluate conformance to established procedures, and to evaluate the effectiveness of those procedures.
Assists as necessary with the sales, design, manufacturing and other departments in the evaluation and correction of specific quality control problems and issues.
Defines and monitors inspection and testing activities to assure that these follow the quality standards established by Quality manuals and ISO standards.
Assures sufficient acceptable documentation is being recorded, maintained, distributed, and retained.
Coordinate and lead external audits for ISO Certification.
Establish roles and responsibilities and training for all employees in the QA/QC department to include staff performance evaluations.
Evaluate staffing requirements for the QA/QC department.
Maintain, track and report Quality KPI for monthly Business Unit Reviews (BUR).
