The Senior Reliability Engineer must be a highly motivated and ambitious individual. This person should be an active, creative thinker who sees things from a systems/process point of view and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The individual should have a demonstrated track record of success (best in class) and possess a strong desire to learn and grow professionally. He/She must be a strong individual contributor who is also team-oriented with exemplary verbal, written, and presentation skills. Specific functions and responsibilities of the position include:

• Support the maintenance of all machinery on-site
• Improve reliability of plant equipment
• Support construction of new processes using in-house labor as well as outside contractors
• Identify and work with contractors to ensure service and products meet standards
• Optimize critical spare equipment/spare parts inventory
• Participate in process hazard analyses (PHAs)
• Work closely with other departments including Production and Engineering Design to troubleshoot problems and implement process changes/expansions/improvements
• Drive alignment of standardized process across the maintenance function
• Ensure all maintenance team members are properly trained to increase reliability and to stay informed with industry changes
• Performs statistical data analysis to predict and minimize failures
• Provides solutions to recurring failures by performing and identifying corrective action
• Ensure the safety of all employees. Lead a comprehensive safety program and prevent injuries. Comply with all federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations (EPA, OSHA, etc.)
• Follow cGMP maintenance requirements on our FDA regulated processes
• Plans out required testing and performance evaluation to assess potential risks to production and safety
