America's Staffing Partner is seeking 3 different Aerospace Engineering positions. We are in need of a Mechanical Engineer (Tooling), Mechanical Engineer (Utility Infrastructure) and Industrial Engineer (Process) to support the 402D Commodities Maintenance Group at the Warner Robins AFB.
Duties for Mechanical Engineers:
The candidate shall follow all procedures and develop all required documents to ensure full operational capability (FOC) of the new processes in accordance with all T.O. (Technical Orders) data found in ETOLS or LDMS or JEDMIX
Requesting authorization of the equipment
Overseeing installation of the equipment
Developing process orders using an Air Force Form AFMCIMT 561, to include performing a VAL/VER (validation/verification) process after FOC of the process development.
Conducting validation and verification testing as needed of the process
Minimizing negative impacts to production and developing the most efficient processes in accordance with the Art of the Possible principles, LEAN, six- sigma
Providing technical support for shop mechanics and flight chiefs
Developing and meeting strategic, operational and tactical goals. The candidate shall use a Computer Aided Design (CAD) to manage facility modifications and new construction projects and keep them on the assigned shared drive throughout the process. All data developed shall be delivered to the Government Engineering Authority via the original source development electronic media within five (5) calendar days of completion
Assist in the development of procurement packages
Develop new tooling for C5, C130, F15, and TH1H aircraft using SolidWorks, following standards set by ASME
The candidate shall use CAD to manage facility modifications and new construction projects and keep them on the assigned shared drive throughout the process. All data developed shall be delivered to the Government Engineering Authority via the original source development electronic media with 5 calendar days of completion
Industrial Engineer Duties:
Utilize Art of the Possible (AoP), LEAN, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, ect. Concepts used to reduce the current overhaul/repair process by 25 to 50 percent flow days.
Job involves AutoCAD lay-out of equipment and fixtures and also basic sketches for Plant Services and engineering.
Act as a liaison between Production, Plant Services, Pmail and Engineering to solve safety, ergonomic and production issues.
Obtain rough initial estimates on new tooling, equipment as required by manufacturing and initiate and follow projects from start until completion working with CE, engineering, in plant and outside vendors.
Work with CE and engineering to solve unique aerospace issues including structural additions to facilities in coordination with the government mechanical, tooling and engineering technicians as it relates to the quality, safety and repair/production of aircraft parts as Warner Robins.
Required to initiate some civil engineering projects which may take a long-time horizon for you to implement.
Basic knowledge of the repair process and equipment for aircraft parts is essential.
Strive to meet OSHA and safety requirements for C-130, F-15 assets, bladder repair, corrosion and pollution issues as it relates to part production.
Interact with supervision and team member quality/safety/ergonomic issues and also assist management to meet flex efficiency targets whenever possible.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Power-point Presentations, blueprint reading, Project organization skills In Outlook are essential, AutoCAD, AOP/IPC, AS9100, equipment process compliance.
Attend Engineering and Production tier meetings and track and assist with project process and modifications.
Review and implement a resolution to fix safety occurrences that occur in your facilities.
Work with tooling on transport dolly design and requirement issues for Air Force and Navy assets.
Must have 5 years of experience working as a Mechanical Engineer (Process), not including education
Experienced with the following systems: JEDMIX, AutoCAD and /or Solid Works ETOLS, and LDMS
Experienced with Art of the Possible principles, LEAN, Six-Sigma Black or Green Belt preferred
Experienced with performing a VAL/VER (validation/ verification)
