This individual will be responsible for developing and driving technical innovation for the business. This individual will be responsible for leading a team of electrical and software test engineers developing test routines for new products as well as being the technical interface to CTDI’s customers. This individual should be a highly motivated, quick learner who enjoys a hands-on, high-speed work environment. Specifically, the responsibilities of this position include:
Determine test standards and best practices for engineering group
Individual who is a developer and manager who can work with Engineers to mentor them and guide them in development activities
Ensure proper engineering documentation for test procedures and other necessary engineering documents
Optimize consumer electronics equipment testing and repair processes.
Support local branch on technical requirements.
Project planning for new development around new businesses.
Managing infotainment head-end systems in the branches.
Work with operations to ensure successful implementation of test equipment and test routines.
Telecommunications industry experience
Expertise in Consumer products especially audio product testing
Strong understanding of Visual Studio and C#
Clear discriminatory approach to solving engineering problems.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office
5+ years of Hands-on technical engineering experience
3+ years of recent engineering management experience
B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field of science
Audio product testing experience is strongly preferred
Manufacturing test engineering experienced strongly preferred
